1970 was a vintage year for the owners of Motown’s muscle cars. It marked the pinnacle of the era, with maximum horsepower and accelerating speeds. The Ford Mustang, with a big-block 429 cid engine, was a street-legal screamer willing to take on any and all challengers to its title as “Boss”. Many tried, most got “fired” and Ford’s Mustang raced into the history books.
